How to tie a Tie properly

Tying up your tie was probably something we all knew once upon a time, but nowadays I think there has been a few changes in society that has lead to this knowledge being slightly lost.

It’s not the young people’s fault, more the people who decided to introduce clip-on ties to schools. I don’t really get the point of a tie if it just clips on. How are kids going to learn how to do them up when they’re older, if they’ve never needed to in the first place?

Let’s just get straight to it. Typing out steps will only get confusing, so here’s a quick video from ties.com that shows you how to tie a Windsor knot. All you need is a collared shirt, a tie (obviously) and a pair of hands!

Pretty easy, right? Just give it a shot a few times until you can remember it without referring to the video and you’re set for life!
