The best Brewery Tours in the UK

If you’re a fan of ale and beer, and you haven’t been on a Brewery tour yet, then you should get one sorted soon!

As well as being a delicious beverage to finish off the week, it’s quite interesting to see what goes into our beer and ales in order for them to be made. It also turns out that of the 10 considered best brewery tours around the world, 4 of them are actually in the UK!

Here’s the 4 breweries that have made it to the top 10 worldwide list.

Meantime Brewery Tours, London

If you’re local to our capital, then you should definitely give the Meantime brewery tour a shot. This tour is described to involve the likes of stand up comedy, history lessons, science lessons and, of course, beer tasting! Sounds pretty good to me, and only works out at around £17.50 a person.

Fuller’s Griffin Brewery Tour, London

Another one for any local Londoners! This is where the well known London Pride is brewed, and is a little cheaper than Meantime at £12 a person. You could even make the day of both breweries if you’re enthusiastic enough!

Ringwood Brewery, Ringwood

Established in 1978, Ringwood Brewery is fairly young compared to some other breweries. Despite this, they produce around 40,000 barrels of beer a year. Each session starts with a drink and takes you through the process, and then ends with more drinks! It works out at around £8.50 each, so not bad at all.

Wychwood Brewery, Witney

The home of the absolutely magnificent Hobgoblin! There’s a reason it’s the UK’s third best selling ale, and it’s a pleasure to see how it’s made from start to finish. This tour also works out at £8.50 a person, which is a great price to see how one of our favourite beers comes to life.
